Safety instructions

This page is intended as a supplement to the safety instructions on the packaging and product. In the event of any conflict, the instructions on the product and in the accompanying manual always prevail.

General warnings for all steps and stools

• WARNING – Improper use may result in falls or injury.
• Before each use, check that the step is undamaged, stable and correctly unfolded/placed.
• Use the product only on a flat, firm and dry surface.
• Always stand with both feet completely on the platform, side by side.
• Never stand on the edge, handle or sides and do not use the product as a seat, table or workbench.
• Use the product only within the maximum load capacity indicated on the product, packaging, or manual. Ensure that the total weight of the user and any objects does not exceed this maximum load capacity.
• Do not use if product is broken, deformed, torn, wobbly or otherwise damaged.
• For indoor household use only unless otherwise stated in the manual.
• Do not jump or jerk on the step and do not make sudden sideways movements.
• Children may only use the step under the direct supervision of an adult.
• If the product has been dropped or subjected to a hard impact, carefully check it for visible and noticeable damage before using it again. If in doubt, discontinue use immediately.

Additional safety instructions for mounted/bolted steps

• Use this product only after it has been completely and correctly installed in accordance with the supplied installation instructions.
• Always use suitable screws, plugs, and mounting hardware for the surface (e.g., wood, concrete, plasterboard). If in doubt, consult a professional.
• Check regularly (e.g., monthly, or more often with heavy use) that all screws and fasteners are still properly tightened. Tighten any loose screws immediately.
• Do not use the product if any of the mounting points, screws or parts are loose, damaged or missing.
• Do not modify the product or its mounting (e.g., drilling additional holes, removing or replacing parts) that are not described in the manual. This may affect stability and lead to unsafe use.
